The Parkrun, is a free timed 5k, which takes place across the world. It’s for people of all abilities to walk, jog or run. I’ve gone a few times to the one in Ballincollig. I love the laid back and fun atmosphere it creates. The fact that it’s done on a Saturday morning is great too. It makes for a great start to the weekend. Eilish brought to my attention that they are adapting during this difficult time and put it out there for people to do their 5k and submit it on their profile. They’re calling it (not) parkrun so I said yes to that at the Tramore Valley Park.
