I always wonder why it’s easier to work in certain environments. You would think that a desk in a quiet room would work perfectly anywhere. For me personally that is not the case. If I’m in the kitchen of my own place it immediately triggers relaxation.
I wanted to find a place where I could work to build the Yes to New brand. I follow Huckleberry Doughnuts and their vlogs and I see them go into Republic of Work. I thought I might check the place out.
While walking into the building I ended up in an area with a few empty cubicles and thought maybe they only operate on certain days. On my way out I met a gentleman who introduced himself as Frank the General Manager at Republic of Work. He offered to give me a tour of the place. I thought this was perfect…here is my chance to tell a few jokes and maybe get hired as an Office Comedian. I wasn’t really that funny on the tour, but at the end Frank handed me a one day pass to try it out. I set up a day to give it a shot…
