Son of a Bun on McCurtain Street in Cork is one of my firm favourites. I probably go there twice a month and I’ve never been disappointed with the food or service. The burgers are delicious and they are very creative and innovative with their burgers of the month. Some of you that follow Yes to New may know that I did a vlog for the Samurai Burger a few months back. It had Hoisin Ketchup, Asian Slaw, Tempura Bacon, Cheese, 6 oz patty, Wasabi Mayo, Brioche bun. It was a tasty burger.
When I saw they were doing a Cheese & Onion burger and there was a crisp packet on the ad I had to learn more. I came to find out the burger had crispy onions, spring onions, mozzarella, pickled onions, melted cheddar and American cheese, 6 oz patty, onion marmalade, onion mayo in a brioche bun. That sounds pretty good to me.
Eilish and I had tickets to see a play called The Shawlies at the Everyman. We said yes to Son of a Bun before the show…
