As much as seeing Iceland was on my bucket list my curiosity for the food was there too. Lamb is one of Iceland’s major food products so the first night I was there I tried a Lamb Skewer at Meze, a restaurant in downtown Reykjavik. I also wanted to taste some local beer so I mostly drank Gull. The Chuck Norris Grille and Lebowski Bar were great for burgers (not very Icelandic). I was also lucky enough to try an Icelandic Doughnut at Köku Kompaníið. I’m so glad I said yes to Iceland.
