I’ve gone to a chiropodist over the years. As someone who likes to run
my toes and feet can take a hammering so I think I’m pretty sure I’ve had a type of pedicure.
For ages though I’ve wanted to get a manicure as you see people getting them done and they seem like totally luxury. I also think it’s important to keep the hands neat and tidy but I just don’t ever do it.
I saw that Regina on Patrick Street in Cork had just opened. One day I decided to head in and check it out. I asked about the Princess Manicure but was told it was for kids. I then just asked for a file and polish and said yes to sitting down.
