I’ve been a big fan of Riverdance for years. I remember seeing it for the first time and as an Irish dancer it was so inspiring. I can’t believe it’s been twenty five years since its launch.
I thought I’d mark the occasion with something inspired by Riverdance so I decided to take a page out of the book of the original lead Michael Flatley and say yes to making a painting with the dance shoes.
I got a few paints and paper together and dusted off the old hard soles and along with a few slips here and there started to create.
