I was looking to make something else out of plastic bottles I had been keeping for recycling. You might remember a previous vlog where I made a chair and although it looked great it wasn’t the sturdiest – or even near sturdy.
This time I wanted to include the idea of social distancing. Eilish said why don’t you make a mat to sit on and if people were meeting in parks, gardens etc. they could place their mat on the ground and you’d avoid that straying into someone else’s space that happens when you’re hanging out with someone for longer than a few minutes. I thought it was a great idea and said yes to it and this time because it was flat I knew it couldn’t collapse ….
